Tell us how you got to The Dunstan Group!
Well, my college internship lead me straight to working with The Dunstan Group. I met Scott during that time and thought what he did was super cool. So after my internship I started working for him.
You’re an artist in many forms, but you bring more to the table, right?
Yes! I’m known for being super organized AND creative… as well as staying on top of all the little details!
What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients?
A LOT of people come to us and say they need stuff FAST or forgot to order it, etc. I am great at making that problem go away!
What do the clients you work with have to say about you?
Here’s a note we just got back from a customer: “Seriously, you make my day every time I work with you. Hope all your clients appreciate how on top of things you are. Can you please solve everything else on my to do list today :)”
And you were a baker, too?
I also worked for Polka Dot Bake Shop in college! I was their Event Coordinator and a baker!
Aside from art and hockey, what else gets you fired up?
Making the ordering process smooth from start to finish for both clients and The Dunstan Group. I don’t like hiccups, but when they happen I know we can make things happen! I also try to do everything like I would want it to be done for myself – 110%! I love working on hip and exciting projects, and I LOVE nifty artwork.
What else can’t you stop talking about?
Well I LOVEEEEE my dog, Stella Blue. HOCKEYYY! GO BLACKHAWKSSSSSS! Coffee and Duck Donuts.
What do you do for fun?
If we are being really honest – I’m either at the GYM or chilling on the couch catching up on the DVR! I really enjoy staying active by kickboxing, doing yoga and cycling.
Holy cow! You’re a Charlotte NATIVE, right?!
THE QC – born and raised. Love it here. Only other place I would want to be is in Chicago!
And you’re all about some community involvement…
I am involved in the local chapter of a non-profit, Cookies for Kids Cancer – 100% of the money they raise goes to pediatric cancer research. A lot of people don’t realize how underfunded pediatric cancer research is. With this group we are able to raise awareness and $! I love it because it’s so simple! People all over the country host bake sales and it makes a huge impact. I also volunteer at Grier’s Gallery. It’s named after an awesome little boy I knew who died of pediatric cancer. All the kids in the hospital can come and do crafts with a local artist.. its super fun! I enjoy getting to see their minds work and knowing they are enjoying being out of their rooms for a bit. And last but certainly not least, I ride in 24 Hours of Booty alongside Scott. I just love the event and the awareness it provides. It always feels great to be a part of the event – even though my butt is sore for days after!
What’s your dirty little secret?
I LOVEEEEE MICHAEL JACKSON!!
