How did you arrive here at The Dunstan Group?
Promo has always been a part of my life. My dad has been in the promo world for over 25 years, and my entire family is involved in one way or another. I have basically grown up knowing of The Dunstan Group as they are an important part of my family’s business. Over the past few years, I have had the opportunity to get to know Scott and Brian more and learn about The Dunstan Group from my eyes. When I was looking for a change in my career the Dunstan Group was the perfect choice after seeing how they interact with clients and promo partners and after learning their values and what is important to them. It was clear that they are just good people, trying to do the right thing, and sell some cool promo.
What’s the one problem you are best at solving for your clients?
Any problem really. Whether it is needing an item in a rush for an event, needing something new or creative for an event or giveaway, or trying to find a solution to a problem to make life easier. We are in the business of making things happen so any problem that comes my way I will find a solution.
What do your ideal clients say about you?
My ideal client loves working with me because they know I will always have their back and make it happen. My ideal client appreciates the value that I bring to the table – the solutions I provide and the creativity and passion I bring to every project. My ideal client trusts me and values me.
What are you most passionate about professionally?
What I am passionate most about professionally is delivering strong service to my clients. This can look like helping them source the perfect product for their upcoming event or making the impossible possible. Providing service that makes them feel secure, and confident to move forward and work with me is what makes it all worth it.
What most excites you about your work & the contribution you can make?
What excites me the most is the feeling the client gets when they see their promo piece/logo come to life. To see their logo printed on their polo shirt or their water bottle – that feeling of excitement and the pride they have wearing it and showing it off. That feeling and contribution we give to customers makes it all worth it.
What are you passionate about personally?
I am a major Arsenal Football fan and a BIG JMU Fan (Go Duke!)
What can’t you stop talking about?
Taylor Swift or Bravo/Reality TV.
Where can we find you when you’re not working?
Probably at home watching my favorite TV show. If not there, I will probably be at the pool or beach!
What’s your favorite way to spend a weekend or a Sunday afternoon?
My typical weekend starts with watching the Premier league games and chilling with my family. Later in the afternoon probably go shopping or go to a brewery, a restaurant or something with friends and family. If I am staying in, I will binge watching a new show or reading a book.
Where did you grow up, and how’d you land in Charlotte?
I grew up in Yorktown VA near VA Beach area. I have lived there my entire life. Once I graduated from JMU I decided to live in Atlanta for a year- then bounced to Orlando for a year. After that I decided to move to Charlotte because my parents moved here. I wanted to be closer to them. We are actually moving to Wilmington shortly to be closer to the beach.
What would be impossible for you to give up?
Music – I don’t play an instrument or sing but I am constantly listening to music.
